The cottage door is open.
Gorblin Mossbeard is a 437-year-old retired wizard with a soft spot for mushrooms, interesting rocks and the sound of rain on his cottage roof.
He likes quiet mornings, good books and feathers found along the path. Loud visitors and unnecessary modern magic? Less so.
“Fetch your pens and pencils. I’ll put the kettle on.”
— Gorblin, in Little Rock Stars
There’s no hurry here. You’ve found the cottage.
Choose a little treasure. Gorblin has left you a few clues about what makes it special.
Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz. It can be pale lilac or deep violet, and sometimes grows inside hollow rocks called geodes.
Try it: draw a geode with a very ordinary outside and an extraordinary inside.
Find the hidden treasures in Gorblin’s garden, then give his cottage a colour adventure of your own.

Look carefully at the picture. Tick each treasure when you find it.
